Rudi – The Creator
Rudolf Zesch – Master builder, Schrattenberg local, wine lover. When the old customs house went up for sale in 2023, Rudi saw his chance: to give something back to his homeland and create a special place.
What began as a business idea became a matter of the heart. With passion and craftsmanship, he transformed the former border post into Zollquartier – together with his family.
Rudi knows every corner of the house, every bike path in the area, every good Heuriger (wine tavern). And if you need tips – he’s there for you.
